This blog grew out of a specific installation that I created for the show "Select Survey Narrative Art Exhibition" in San Diego, CA, 2010. This work consisted of several dozen small ceramic heads/busts and hands that I grouped together - a collection of small portraits. These small pieces became a way for me to explore many ideas and techniques quickly - a sort of sculptural sketchbook. In keeping with the Narrative theme of the show, I began to explore using these portraits to tell stories.
